Your wedding day is a moment you want your invited guests to remember for the right reasons and not for the wrong ones. This is where you need to make everything perfect, picturesque and enjoyable at the same time!

Ideas on a budget
Having a small budget can really set you on edge ("Damn... how can I get this look (wedding style you want to copy) with my small budget"), anxious, nervous and any other emotion that you may have planning your wedding.😔😟 Not to worry! Our tips will help you stay calm, collected and plan the best wedding, on your budget. See below
1. The Dress - Splurge
(Your wedding dress should make you feel like you): Remember when your prom seemed like high stakes? Well, think of this moment as such. Your wedding dress should express who you are - showing your heritage/culture or a hint of your favorite color or just your unconventional style - maybe a jumpsuit, pantsuit, separates/two-piece.
If you are proud of your back, show it off in a deep scoop in back exposing an expanse of skin understatedly sexy- way. Or, if you want to show off your waist, go for a dress that has belt/straps that tie in the middle that will accentuate your waist!
Again, you don't have to spend a fortune on a dress (you can always choose to rent) to look beautiful, however, you do need to have it fitted by a good tailor.

2. Photography - Splurge
You don't want a wedding album that disappoints. Hire an expert who knows what moments to capture- the rings, classic photo of both you holding hands. They will know how to work the crowd and direct you in order to get the best shots. Make sure you get referrals before hiring a photographer.

3. The Bouquet - Splurge
Your bouquet is the one floral (depending on your style) purchase that you should not hold back on. Consider that as a part of your overall look, which means you should go for it!👍See our Pinterest board (KMichWeddings) for steal-worthy ideas!
4. The Food - Splurge
If you are a foodie, splurge on your menu and make it enjoyable. You can mix in the foods you tried if you have traveled and/or your favorite comfort food to make your menu interesting! Make sure what you are considering is in season. Check with your caterer before signing on the dotted line.
5. The Music - Splurge
Getting your best friend's boyfriend to play at your reception is not a good idea. He may know how to select music and all, but does he know how to work the room?😕 So, splurging on a great DJ who will get your guests dancing through the night will be money well spent. Oh, don't forget to have comfortable flats for your female guests, they'll love you for this. 😁
6. The Venue - Splurge
After you both have figured out the style/type of wedding you are going for, now it’s time to check out venues to see if they are available for your wedding date.
Your wedding style will help you determine what type of venue you are looking for – high ceilings with chandeliers (less decor needed), seating for (?? guests) and the dance floor, outdoor garden, etc. Visit approximately 3 to 6 locations to see what they are like; make sure, you ask questions and take notes.

Tip from the Pros - This might be a stretch. If you want to stay within budget, we suggest having your wedding on a weekday. Venues are typically cheaper in the weekday than on the weekends - $$ vs. $$$

DeleteI agree with Dee, there are many ways to splurge wisely. For example, when I got married the first time, the dress of my dreams was a sold out style with only the display left...which fit me perfectly and needed only a few repairs from being the display. It retailed for around $2,500 (and that was over 20 years ago) and I was able to purchase it off the rack with its damages for $800. Thanks for sharing these tips and linking up with me.
