YOUR DRESS PROBLEM SOLVED - ABSOLUTELY A RED CARPET MOMENT

Jenny had anxiety finding the perfect dress and

started getting anxious as the months turned

into days and drew closer to her wedding day.

When you think of wedding dresses, the first thing that comes to mind is the typical white ball gown or embellished white dress, and so too Jenny, who eventually found a dress she loved. The tradition of wearing white goes back quite a bit.

A little History on White Wedding Dresses and how it got started

This tradition dates back to 1840 after the marriage of Queen Victoria to Albert of Saxe–Coburg, and Gotha! Wearing white became more of a custom tradition in the mid- 20th century even though it became a popular fashion in the mid-19th century. Many western societies link wearing white with purity; and why brides choose to wear a white dress. On the contrary, blue was more connected to faithfulness, purity, and piety. It’s also believed that correlating white to purity was more sentimental and traditional since the color white became related to purity as it gained more control..

So, if you are like Jenny and still looking for your perfect dressyou should consider this option; Evening wear. Yes, evening wear. With so many elegant dresses that look grand on the red carpet and are appropriate for a wedding ceremony. Your choice will surprise your guests and have you stepping out of your comfort zone and breaking a few of the wedding norms we know. The two good things about this choice are you can wear it again for any special occasion, and not store it in the back of your closet as with tradition. The second good thing is you will not need to change into a reception dress after the ceremony because this is all the dress you will need!

The dresses we are in love with are from the King of Glamour designer  Wayne Clarke.  His beautiful dresses draw you in and are sought after by celebrities. Seeing how much attention he puts into every design speaks volumes. It is the perfect dress to make you feel even sexier and the center of attention all night.

A Bit About Wayne Clarke and how he got started

A successful designer from Alberta, Canada, his career had a rapid rise that came to life when he started an apprenticeship with London-based designer Sir Hardy Aimes. While there, he developed his passion by creating eveningwear dresses for the Saville Row couturier. Upon his return from London, he collaborated with numerous manufacturers using his name. Fast-forward, he established his own company and has artistic control.

  2. These are beautiful dresses, and there's no law that says the wedding dress must be white. (That's a silly, outdated notion). Thanks for participating in Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 29.
