7 EVERYDAY IDEAS YOU CAN USE TO LOCKDOWN THAT ‘YES’

"... just needs a little romance from
you and some help from us..."

Want to keep that relationship spark going or just pop the big question while on quarantine? Then you’re absolutely where you need to be.

During these isolation times, staying in touch can be a chore, especially if you are a couple.

Whether you’re living separately or stay together, the monotony may have taken its toll…or not. Either way, if you’re looking for a way to rekindle that flame or you’re ready to pop the big question, here are a few amazing everyday ideas to do just that!

In this post, you will get ideas on:

How to make him or her yours forever with these cute little lockdown tricks.

This just needs a little romance from you and some help from us. If you’re planning to propose for the first time, you’ve got to make sure you’re really ready to pop that question .

Ready? Here we go!

1. Go Virtual with your Proposal

You can still propose from home while practicing social distancing.
There are a lot of apps and tools to help you make a virtual proposal. You could use Google Duo , FaceTime, or Zoom .

Make a banner or a collage of your favorite times with your partner and use that as your chat backdrop – Zoom actually lets you do that.

FYI: You can find editable templates on Canva to help you with this.
And when they say Yes, you could even do your wedding or renew your vows virtually!

2.  Picnic Anyone?

Who can say no to soft blankets and some pampering?
You’re spending the lockdown with your partner? Lucky. Wooing your partner just got a lot easier.
Plan a surprise picnic out in your yard or if you don’t have one, decorate a room with pictures, fun DIY craft, and last Christmas ornaments. Throwdown a soft blanket, layout their favorite food and drinks, and you’re set.

3. Movie Night

Lights. Romance. Propose.
Watching your favorite movie with the lights turned low and snuggled up in a cozy blanket with some wine is an excellent idea.
Choose a movie that you both like, maybe one from your earliest dates. This could also work virtually too.
Don’t forget the popcorn!

4. Ready. Set. Game

Game night just got better.
A virtual or real-life game can set the mood for your proposal. It’ll certainly be unexpected. Choose a favorite game and try to incorporate hints to what you’re about to do, it could be charades or an indoor scavenger hunt and the grand prize is a ring!

5. A Candle-lit Dinner

Good food is a way to a lot of people’s hearts.
Dust off that recipe book and prepare a tasty 3-course meal with fun names, you could also get step by step recipes on meal subscription sites like Hello Fresh , Blue Apron , and Home Chef .

Can’t cook? You can order food from a local business or try Uber Eats , Caviar , Doordash , and so on.

And if you want exotic, you could recreate the ambiance of a special restaurant or place with the right backdrop .

This can work if you aren’t staying together. Have food delivered to your significant other at the set time and date you want to propose, and turn on the charm.

6. Breakfast in Bed Proposal

Breakfast in bed has never been more romantic.
Switch up the ole breakfast in bed routine with an engagement proposal, you could try making the cereal spell out the words or do a small song. Your audience would love it! And you!

7. Propose In the Great Outdoors

If movement is not very restricted in your area, or parks are open, you can take a leisurely walk with your partner and propose under nature, be creative. Make a simple moment like this into one to tell your grandchildren.
