Brides preferences shift with time, with preferred flowers, flower colors, floral arrangement style, and floral decor change. To get more of an idea of how brides are incorporating this trend, we got an inside peek from two florists who shared with us their take on this trend. See what they have to say below.
Maya, creative director at Beautiful Blooms For 2019 one thing that I'm seeing and LOVING is the incorporation of tropical flowers and leaves mixed with other unexpected and interesting textures. I'm also loving painted elements, especially metallics, juxtaposed against more natural things for a really fun pop.
Floral Crown - aglaonema leaves, rose gold painted pine tips, seeded eucalyptus, phalaenopsis orchid blooms
Meghan, a floral designer at Joy Unspeakable Flowers on Bouquets and Colors. Here is what we have been noticing for 2019 floral trends: Color is back! All last year, people were interested in minimal color (white or blush only), with very soft greens. This year, people are moving toward bold colors with wildflower greens vs. the romantic eucalyptus look of 2017-2018.
Also, Boho floral style is going to be in with elements like proteas (king, queen, and blushing bride proteas) and pampas grass. These give a stunning over-the-top look to all arrangements.

I love the colors in these bouquets, as well as the use of unusual plants/grasses.
