The Top 5 Wedding Saving Tips

We heard you, DIY brides... Still looking for ways to save on your wedding? Well, here are some tips we gathered that will help you do just that. These tips will keep you focused on the things that are important to you in planning your dream wedding.

Here are a few things that you should keep in mind when planning your wedding:

1. Avoid peak season
Wedding season starts May-June + September-October. Therefore, any dates inside of those months are considered peak seasons for weddings. So, think about a date that is outside of those months.

2. Cut in packs
- shrink your guest count. Use the 'Five-year/ Five-minute rule of thumb'Consider rethinking your guests' list. Rule of thumb - The number of guests, determines your cost per person.

3. Choose local flowers
Purchase your flowers wholesale and just pay for the labor of a professional florist to arrange them. Arrange the flowers yourself. A bouquet made of roses or succulents with a little eucalyptus filler and tied with a ribbon makes a stunning bouquet and you do not need to be a professional to put this together.

4. Have fewer VIPs
cut your posse in half (a large bridal party equals a hefty florist bill) Consider reducing your bridal party or opt to not have any.

5. Sorry, no shots
- flat bars (no alcohol, only sodas, water, sparkling ciders, etc.)
