If glasses are a big part of your look, don’t ditch them when it’s time for your special day. When walking down the aisle, the most important thing for a bride to keep in mind is to look like YOU! There’s no need to make any drastic alterations to your appearance and that means incorporating your everyday accessories, including glasses. A few tips to keep in mind if you plan on rocking your glasses on your wedding day:

1. Take them shopping with you
You want to get the full picture when you say, 'YES!' to the dress. Bringing along your glasses for the shopping process is important so that you get the full look. Your glasses should compliment your dress and vice versa. So, make sure you have your glasses on when you try your dress on!

2. Let your photographer know!
This will be helpful when they are considering how light will reflect in the flash throughout the day.
Bonus: If you have an engagement shoot included as part of your practice, bringing your glasses along will help you be comfortable with wearing them in front of the camera as you pose.

3. Keep it natural
Yes, glasses draw attention to your eyes, but they can also compete with just how much your eye makeup stands out. You’ve probably found a few great makeup tips that go along with your spectacles and this advice is for brides with or without frames. When selecting your day-of look, make sure that you keep in mind there will probably be a few happy tears.

4. Accessorize accordingly
Your glasses are part of your whole look. So make sure they don’t clash with your other jewelry, veil or other accessories. Plus, adding some sparkle to your wedding day look will take them from drab to fab!

Brows have made a big comeback the past few years and it’s important not to forget about them even when you’re wearing your glasses. Get them shaped the week before your wedding and make sure that your makeup artist knows that it’s important to you when you do your makeup trial before the wedding.
